Architas sees strong UK and global growth in 2017

Today we announced strong growth in 2017 as net new money for the UK business in 2017 hit £867mn. Net new money for the global business as a whole was €2.12bn while total assets reached €43.7bn as at 31 December 2017.

Hans Georgeson, CEO, Architas:

"The continued growth of our UK business reflects the strength and depth of our relationships with our clients. Our core UK fund range, which advisers use to meet the needs and risk appetites of their clients, continues to attract significant inflows while 2017 saw the launch of our Global Equity Income fund which is designed to complement our existing income range of funds.

"In Europe we saw strong inflows from the AXA distribution networks across France, Belgium, Italy and Germany as investors moved into investment funds to secure higher levels of return from their savings.

"We also made a strategic decision in 2017 to expand into Asia, supported by a new range of multi-asset funds domiciled in Dublin. The funds are registered for distribution in Singapore and are undergoing regulatory filings to be made available in the Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand. These funds will be available to retail investors via the local AXA network."

The value of investments can fall as well as rise. Clients could get back less than they invest.
