Hans Georgeson is the Chief Executive Officer of Architas, the open architecture asset manager for AXA.

Hans joined in August 2010 with a brief to build the business and help AXA deliver on ambitious growth targets. Since joining, Architas has expanded into several new markets, has grown assets four-fold, and is delivering strong profit growth. Prior to joining Architas, Hans spent 14 years at Barclays Wealth in a number of executive positions. Hans was educated at Oxford and INSEAD.

Architas to sell UK investment business

Architas, part of the global AXA Group, today announced the sale of its UK investment business to Liontrust Asset Management Plc (“Liontrust”). The UK investment business, which includes two regulated legal entities Architas Multi-Manager Limited and Architas Advisory Services Limited, consists of UK regulated funds and UK advisory business with around £5.6bn* in assets. Subject to regulatory approval and approval from Liontrust shareholders, it is expected the sale will be completed by the end of this year.
